What is Heart and Craft?

Heart and Craft is a website that publishes multi-media content intended for entertainment only.

What is this document?

This Privacy Notice is aimed at explaining what personal data I collect, how I collect it, why I collect it, what I will do with it, how I store it and when I delete it.
It will be reviewed regularly. When I make changes to this Privacy Notice I will update the ‘last modified’ date at the bottom of this document.

What information do I collect?

To be honest, I don't collect very much stuff. Haven't got room for it. But what I do collect is for the following reasons.

1. Cookies

My absolute favourite cookie is a double chocolate chip one, perhaps topped with chocolate sprinkles or toasted flaked nuts, mmmm, but I don't think that's got anything to do with this notice. Shame.

2. Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site I collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Mainly, though, I don't set up any posts or pages for comments so it shouldn't be an issue.

3. Email list
As of January 2025 I do not keep an email list and have no intention of creating one here.
